What are the guidelines for selling your products?

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates cosmetics (including hair care) under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act). The FD&C Act distinguishes how cosmetics (including hair care) can be marketed from drugs.

Cosmetics (including hair care) can be "rubbed, poured, sprinkled, or sprayed on or into the body to cleanse, beautify, promote attractiveness or alter the appearance". Drugs are used in the "diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of disease and affect the structure or function of the bodies of humans or animals".

What are the specific rules for selling your products?

We use GoAffPro for our Affiliate Program. As a part of the sign up process, GoAffPro will assign you a unique link to share with your followers.

Sales and commissions are tracked based upon activity from this link. Commissions are 15% of sales and are paid quarterly. You should share your link via social media, blogs and articles or at events. Affiliate relationships need to be declared on social media.
